Print, production, typography
This stamp design and brochure is based on the Bauhaus movement (1919-1933). The design consists of geometric shapes, clean lines and subtle hues. All the images and typography are used to represent the movement and inform others on the impact it had in the design industry.
DESIGN APPROACH & PROCESS
The Bauhaus movement was from 1919-1913, the movement highlighted many individuals who have impacted the design world. For this project, I researched all many individuals and their role during the movement. The goal was to create a n information brochure and a stamp design system. I decided to highlight three individuals: Walter Gropius, Herbert Bayer and László Moholy-Nagy. I took their work and their images to create the stamps, along with typography. The color scheme for each individual stays the same, but can be differentiated by the other individuals. Overall, the design represents the movement: geometric, clean and simple.
